I am focused on extended project inspired by classical music. I believe to compose visual music by sculptures and space. I conceptualize the visual shape of music as a sequence of the performer’s emotions and the auditor’s impression. I am inspired by the shape of musical instruments, as well as the quality of applied material, precision in making.

Required discipline of the form and visual correspondence to the sound are the goals to achieve in my sculpture works. They may not create the music themselves, however the impression of music appears when viewed. The delicacy, the rhythm, the tension seem to be pivotal role of each piece and the key to approach expected notion. The order of the orchestra and the balance of musician’s movements make me listen and watch. The composition of sculptures will make us watch and hear. Trans-sensual interplay between one’s ear and eye become the chief topic of the project.

Ultimately I plan to realize several parts of the composition that correspond to different sections of the orchestra. The completed project as an exhibition of all parts will be demonstration of music in its structural and visual aspects. The viewer as a participant of the space will be invited to be inside the music. The sculptor becomes the composer of the space, sculptures stay as components of the music and the viewer feels like a conductor placed in the central point of the whole piece.
